ID Sports USA is pleased to announce our summer residential college showcase camps for high school aged boys to be hosted at Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, IL.

We are thrilled to partner with Tim Lenahan, former head coach of Northwestern, to bring back Chicago's top college soccer residential ID camp this summer!

At our competitive four-day / three-night event, players are exposed to the college soccer experience through interaction with college coaches from a variety of levels. This is a great opportunity for players to meet college coaches and start the recruiting process.

Players participate in college-level training sessions and full-sided matches each day where they are coached and evaluated by college coaches. Goalkeeper specific training is also provided by college goalkeeping coaches. In between sessions, players will learn the importance of physical preparation by participating in group recovery and regeneration sessions led by sports performance specialists and coaches.

Players will also attend two panel sessions in the evening. One led by current college coaches to talk Do's & Dont's of the college process, and the other led by past college players to cover "a day in the life" of the college athlete.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

  • College level coaching and training

  • Air conditioned and renovated dorms

  • Meals provided by an award-winning dining hall

  • Fun and competitive playing & training environment

  • Safe, comfortable, and convenient campus layout

  • Beautiful turf and grass fields used by International teams

  • Opportunity to train with multiple college coaches

WHO IS TIM LENAHAN?

Tim Lenahan is a legend in Big Ten and college coaching circles having become the only coach in Big Ten history to accumulate both 300 wins and to coach 20 years in the Big Ten.  After taking over a winless Northwestern program in 2001, Coach Lenahan built the Wildcats into a national power winning three Big Ten Championships while taking Northwestern to two Elite Eights and four Sweet Sixteen appearances.    In his career, his teams went to 15 NCAA Tournaments and he is a 10-time Coach of the Year recipient.  He stepped down from Northwestern as the all-time winningest coach in school history in 2021.  He has his USSF “A” License and United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma.

As the Director of the College Soccer Training Center since 2001, Coach Lenahan has helped hundreds of players fulfill their dream of playing college soccer.  He is recognized as having one of the greatest coaching “trees’ in college soccer history having former assistants go on to becoming head coach at 17 different colleges, including 10 Division I schools.  One former assistant coach, Jesse Marsch, now coaches at Red Bull Leipzig in the Bundesliga and a former player, Santiago Solari, has coached at Real Madrid and now coaches at Club America in Mexico City.  Solari is the only college player in history to win the Champions League having done so with Real Madrid in 2002.

Coach Lenahan is excited to partner with ID Sports USA to continue the great tradition of the College Soccer Training Center in helping high school aged players realize their goal of playing college soccer.
